Each preset is described by what it holds: the sport, the position and the buttons on the board.

The RinkBuddy is the board of buttons you tap during the game to log your player’s stats. A preset is a complete RinkBuddy, already set up: which buttons, in what order, what size and what colour, with the board style and the tracking options, such as ice time, shot zones, periods or shift ratings. Instead of building yours button by button, you start from a board another parent or a coach already uses in games.
Pick a preset, tap Apply, then choose the player who gets it. Their board takes the buttons, style and options of the preset right away. Applying is open to every account, including the free plan. The copy is made at the moment of the tap: if the author changes their preset later, your board stays as it is, and as soon as you change a button, the board becomes entirely yours.
The gallery filters by sport, hockey, ball hockey or ringette, and by position, skater or goalie. A forward does not track the same things as a defenseman, and a goalie mostly logs saves, goals against and where the shots come from. RinkLog presets, prepared by our team, always stay on top; the others rank by votes, by newest or by the number of players using them.
A board that works well deserves to be shared. From the Builder, paid plans can make up to ten presets public, with a title and a signature of their choice. Pick a signature that is neither your email nor your child’s name. A publication can be corrected or withdrawn at any time.
