RinkLog replaces the notebook and the Excel file parents drag into arenas. During the game, you tap one button per event: shift start and end, goal, assist, shot on net or missed, faceoff won, hit, penalty. The timer computes ice time on its own.

After the horn, the app turns everything into clear statistics: game totals, season averages, last-three-games trends, progression charts. Season after season, you see your hockey player's real curve, not just the goals column.

The RinkBuddy board is fully customizable: drag and drop stat buttons to match your player's position. A defenseman prioritizes hits and +/-, a forward shots and faceoffs, a goalie switches to saves and goals against with danger zones.

The app works offline inside the arena: anything entered without a signal syncs as soon as the connection returns. Phone, tablet or computer, everything stays in one place.

Frequently asked questions about hockey tracking

Does RinkLog work for youth hockey?

Yes, that's its natural habitat: parents in the stands following their child from U7 to junior. Levels and birth years also power percentile benchmarks that compare your player to comparable players.

Can you really measure ice time?

Yes. You tap a button when your player jumps on the ice and when they come back to the bench. RinkLog computes every shift, the game total and the per-game average, a stat official scoresheets never give you.

Is there a goalie mode?

Yes, a full goalie mode: goals against, save percentage, high-danger saves (HDSV%), rebounds, quality starts and shot-location heat maps.

How much does RinkLog cost?

A free plan tracks one player and their last three games. The Premium plan is $11.99 per year (founding price) for unlimited history and advanced statistics.
