What the paper reported
On September 16, 2026, journalist Marc Cochrane published an article in Journal Ici l'Info titled "Un Boischatelois crée une application carnet de joueur", meaning "A Boischatel man creates a player logbook app". Why I built RinkLog
From the stands, you see the whole game. The scoresheet only keeps goals and assists. A young player can block three shots, win their faceoffs, hold the line on the penalty kill, and still go home with an empty stat line. That gap, between what a parent sees and what the official sheet records, is what pushed me to build RinkLog.
One tap during the game, the rest adds up
The idea fits in a single gesture: one tap when the play happens, without taking your eyes off the game. Everything else follows: shot heat maps, faceoffs by zone of the rink, ice time shift by shift, and a full goalie mode. At the end of the year, the player does not walk away with a line in a table, but with their own logbook, their charts and their player card.
