Dek hockey’s format changes the game’s nature: 3v3 is a space-and-cardio sport where everyone touches the ball and scores explode; 4v4 balances offense and structure; 5v5 gets close to traditional hockey with defined roles. A player’s stats therefore only compare within the same format.

Concretely: 2 goals a game in 3v3 is ordinary, in 5v5 it is a statement. Shift length also runs longer in 3v3 (fewer substitutes) and fatigue weighs on late-game play, which shows directly in third-period stats.
