RinkLog or MyPlayer: which app should you choose for hockey?

My Player Page (myplayer.page), built by independent studio Cromulent Labs, is one of the few apps built with the same idea as RinkLog from day one: a parent tracking their own kid's hockey, stat by stat, from the stands. Launched on the App Store in late June 2026, it's still very young (barely two ratings so far) but already offers one-tap entry, importing a game from a photo of a scoresheet, and shareable hockey-card-style stat cards. It only covers hockey, not ball hockey or ringette.

Progress, not pressure

Where MyPlayer is strong

  • Nearly identical model to RinkLog: a parent tracking their own kid, one tap at a time, from the stands
  • Shareable, hockey-card-style stat cards, in four designs
  • Import a game from a photo of a scoresheet or schedule, to save time
  • Multi-season history per player, with auto-save during the game

Where RinkLog plays differently

  • RinkLog covers hockey, ball hockey and ringette; MyPlayer only covers hockey
  • RinkLog is an established, proven product; MyPlayer only just launched and still has very few ratings
  • RinkLog is bilingual French and English throughout the app
  • RinkLog works offline start to finish, something not publicly confirmed for MyPlayer
  • RinkLog is built in Quebec and compliant with Quebec's Law 25 on the protection of personal information
