What you need to read it: goals are logged at clock time (counting down), assists go to the last two teammates who touched the puck before the scorer (two at most), and penalty codes vary by federation (hooking, high-sticking and interference are the most common in youth hockey). Scoresheet errors happen and get corrected by speaking to the scorekeeper before the game ends.
