Which stats should you track at U11-U13 hockey?

At U11-U13, skills take structure and full tracking starts to pay: ice time, goals, assists, shots (on goal and missed) and faceoffs for centers. It is the perfect age to establish trend measurement, because progress is fast and visible month to month.

Dosage still matters: you measure to show the young player their progress, not to rank them. The winning post-game conversation after a pointless night: "your shots and ice time have been climbing for a month". It is factual, encouraging, and it teaches that process precedes results.

Technically, this is also the age where ice time becomes the queen statistic: usage gaps between lines widen and tell the season better than the score. RinkLog measures it automatically every shift.

RinkLog measures and computes this statistic automatically during your hockey, ball hockey and ringette games.
