Which stats should you track at U15-U18 hockey?

At U15-U18, complete tracking becomes an investment: it is the age of tryouts, sports-study programs and first scout looks. To the usual core you add advanced stats (SCF%, iCF, xG), production per ice time and percentiles against same-age players.

What changes at this age: evaluators want context, not totals. "45 points" says nothing; "1.1 points per game, 62% on faceoffs, 55% of scoring chances going his team’s way when he is on the ice" tells a player’s story. A two-or-three-season history measured with the same definitions is gold in an application file.

The RinkLog public profile (complete, restricted or link-only mode) turns that tracking into a presentable record: stats, progression charts and heat maps, reachable through one link sent to a coach or a scout.

RinkLog measures and computes this statistic automatically during your hockey, ball hockey and ringette games.
